Gilbert Inglefield Academy

Welcome to Gilbert Inglefield Academy

It has been my privilege to be the Headteacher of Gilbert Inglefield since September 2014.  Gilbert Inglefield Academy is a happy, caring, disciplined and hard-working family community. Our aim is to ensure that through the highest quality teaching of a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum in a stimulating environment, each pupil flourishes. With an excellent pastoral care system, we foster an environment where children feel safe and able to learn and extra support is always at hand. Our expectations of high standards of self-discipline and mutual respect encourage children to grow into responsible citizens of today’s challenging society.

This website contains a great deal of information about the school, and I hope that it will also give you a sense of the school’s mission to work to the highest possible standard to ensure that your child is happy here. Our motto, “Believe, Achieve, Succeed” summarises our wish to see all our children develop self-belief, achieve their goals and experience success in school and in life.
