Gilbert Inglefield Academy

Harvest Festival

We will celebrate Harvest Festival during the whole school assembly on Friday 19th October.

Our aim is to make children aware of harvest and to encourage them to think about those people less fortunate than themselves. To this end we would be very grateful for any donations of food (packets or tins – not fresh produce) to help create our harvest display.

Mr. David Heather MBE, head teacher of Pulford VA Lower School, is coming to talk to the children and thank them for the food they bring in and to join in our celebrations. After the festival the harvest gifts will be distributed to the homeless in Leighton Buzzard.

If you would like to contribute to our Harvest Appeal please send your gifts in with your child on Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th  or the morning of Friday 19th October to the school hall.
