How Much Homework?

Homework and home learning are a vital part of your education. They allow you to consolidate and extend your learning, as well as providing opportunities for individual research and project work.

How much homework should I get?

The following timetables are for guidance only. It may be that you receive homework on an alternative day due to variances in timetabling. It is also possible that Science; Arts Faculty (Art, DT or Music); Geography; History; Education for Life (RE or PSHEE) subjects will not set homework each week but over the half term the amount of homework will be approximately 3 hours in each of those subjects.

Computing will also set homework; however this will often be incorporated into other subjects.
