Key Stage 2 Writing Day

Key Stage 2 had a surprise when they came into their teaching blocks last Wednesday morning - someone (or something) had visited overnight and made a terrible mess!

The Year 5 classrooms had enormous footprints all over the floor, books thrown to the ground and tables turned over.

Over in the Year 6 block, there was washing strewn across the windows, lily pads on computers and a frog peering out from behind a monitor.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their Writing Day this half term, creating newspaper articles and stories about monsters and flying frogs. It was fantastic to see all the children engaged and excited with their special day. The writing produced is of a brilliant standard and we can't wait to see what they will produce during their next writing day before Christmas!
