Year 6 Phasels Wood Trip

From 22nd to 23rd May, Year 6 pupils enjoyed a post-SATs overnight trip to Phasels Wood Activity Centre near Hemel Hempstead. During the day they took part in a range of activities: wild survivor bushcraft, tobogganing, climbing, archery, team building, scavenger hunting and making bug shelters. After playing games in the evening, hey had their hot chocolate and biscuits around a campfire before a well deserved sleep under canvas. Thank you to Mrs. Cromack for organising the trip and to the staff who accompanied the children.

My favourite part about Phasels Wood was when we built shelters and made fires, then we toasted marshmallows.

My favourite part was all of it, but if I had to choose it would be rock climbing and going to see the tents.

I liked doing the activities that involve nature because I like the wilderness.
