Peanut visits Gilberts
Peanut the Elephant visited Gilberts on 18th November and the children were able to see him in the canteen.
Peanut is a decorated example of elephants which are being given to schools and other organisations participating in the Big Trunk Trail fundraising. Our children will help decorate the elephant we receive and they had the opportunity to guess the name of that elephant by paying 50p to choose a name from a list. The Guess the Name of the Elephant competition was won by Travae Snow and Leia-May Eppy, both in 6FL. The winning name was Saami.
Our decorated elephant will then take part in the Big Trunk Trail being held in Luton next summer.
We will be holding more fundraising events between now and then to raise more money for Keech Hospice Care.
